Having previously wowed us with a whole host of elaborate geometric designs, it would appear that Leicester City's grounds staff are going all out to prepare a showstopping playing surface for next Thursday's penultimate home match of the season.

Indeed, the Foxes are in the process of cutting a huge version of their club crest into the pitch at the King Power ahead of Tottenham's visit on May 18.

The design has been produced in partnership with Belgian company New Ground Tech, who proudly announced that Leicester are the first ever football club to use their TurfPrint Graphic system.

With turf as beautiful as that, who cares if the Foxes have fallen a little short in their quest to defend their Premier League title?
